Chennai floods: Jayalalitha Couldn’t Replicate Chandrababu’s Flood Management

The present Chennai floods are the worst floods to hit Tamil Naidu ever. While people are waiting for prompt response and rescue operations from the politicians, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha has failed to do the necessary.

Jayalalitha made the biggest mistake of her career by not monitoring the situation at the grass-root level. In addition to this, she is criticized on social media as few of her supporters and party workers hampered the rescue operations with the publicity works showcasing her as Sivagami from Baahubali.

Many are commenting on social media that Jayalalitha should have been inspired form her Andhra Pradesh counterpart, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who had led the rescue operations from the front when Hudhud Cyclone devastated Vizag last year.

Camping in a bus for more than 10 days and monitoring the situation on ground zero, Naidu proved his integrity and commitment. Jayalalitha failed to do so and she has been receiving criticism from her people for right reasons.

People of Tamil Nadu are said to be angry on Jayalalitha led AIADMK for its poor disaster management. Political analysts predict that Chennai floods are going to have huge impact on AIADMK in 2016 elections.
