Neeta Lulla’s Manikarnika party on Christmas saw fashionable icons Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande and producer Kamal Jain.
Zealous Film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is all set to release on January 25 next year. With post-production getting winded up, designer Neeta Lulla, who costumed the lead characters of the film, hosted a party for the entire team.
Kangana’s outfit was a grey-black figure-flaunting long skirt and jacket combination. Ankita, the new chic, kept it simple in a dull pink dress. Neeta made her appearance in an ankle-length kurta-style dress.
Kangana, who plays Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, portrays a spirited young girl called Manikarnika and journeys through her life marriage,
motherhood, queen, finally martyrdom. A glimpse of the Indian revolt of 1857 is to be seen with Ankita, Danny Denzongpa and Atul Kulkarni playing key roles.
