Indian track-and-field athlete Man Kaur, a 102-year-old sportsperson, won the 200m race in the 100-104 age group category at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Spain.

The World Masters Athletics Championships comprises events like track and field, cross country, and road running events, for athletes above 35 years of age.

Kaur in the 100-104 age group category completed the race in 3 minutes and 14.65 seconds to bag gold medal.

Kaur also set a record in 2016 at the American Masters games by becoming the world’s fastest centenarian in the 100 plus age group category competition.

“I enjoyed it and am very happy. I’m going to run again, I’m not going to give up. I will participate, there’s no full sTop,” the athlete was stated as saying by The Hindu.

She is definitely an inspirational personality for so many, as she holds the world records in the Over-100 years old categories for a variety of events.
