Ethiopian Airlines crashed at Bishoftu with 157 persons on board

Ethiopian airlines hit somewhere near Bishoftu, 62 kilometers Southeast of the capital Addis Ababa.

The airline had 149 passengers and eight crew members on board.

The last major crash happened in 2010 when the flight went down in a short time after take off.

 

A passengers jet, Ethiopian airlines Boeing 737 that boarded passengers for Nairobi crashed on March 10. it hit somewhere near Bishoftu, 62 kilometers southeast of the capital Addis Ababa.

The airline that crashed Boeing737 -800 MAX has had registration number of ET-AVJ. The airline had 149 passengers and eight crew members on board.

The flight departed from Bole airport in Addis Ababa at approx. 8.38 am before losing its contact with control tower just a few minutes later at 8.44am.

Prime Ministers officials sent condolences for the families of the person who lost lives in their lives in the crash. Ethiopian a State-owned aircraft is the largest on the continent by fleet size.
