The matter is being looked after by the Central Government who said only in exceptional cases the issue could be left out for a particular individual. But others have to link their Aadhaar when filing Income Tax Return.
Reports suggested that Government has sorted that those PANs that are not linked with Aadhaar by March 31, 2019, it will be considered invalid.
