United States President Donald J. Trump on Thursday (21st of March) wrote on his Twitter page, “after 52 years it is time for the United States to fully recognize Israel’s Sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and Security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability!”.
Thanking US President Trump, Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu wrote on Twitter, “at a time when Iran seeks to use Syria as a platform to destroy Israel, President of United States Trump boldly recognizes Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights. Thank you President Trump!.”
The PM of Israel Twitter page also wrote, “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke this evening with US President Donald Trump and thanked him for the decision to recognize the Golan Heights.”
It further wrote, Prime Minister Netanyahu told US President Trump: “You made history.”
