World Bank Group’s Pandemic Emergency Financing Facility (PEF) Makes First $12 million Commitment to Bridge Financing Gap For Ebola Response in DRC

The World Bank Group’s Pandemic Emergency Financing Facility (PEF) activates its Cash Window, making its FIRST-ever commitment, a $12 million grant towards the current Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The grant will support the surge in activities of the DRC Government and international responders. As of today, there have been a total of 50 cases and 27 deaths from the current outbreak.
