Leader’s credibility in politics has two key components: trustworthiness and competence, which both have objective and subjective components.

Trustworthiness is based more on subjective factors, but can include objective measurements such as recognized reliability.

Competence can be similarly subjectively perceived, but also includes relatively objective characteristics of the leader.

Therefore, people in general seek trustworthiness and competence in political Leadership.

Considering the factors include leader’s Corruption profile, ethical matters, fighting spirit, competence, caring and vision, TheTimes24 has recently conducted a poll on its social media platforms in order to recognise the leader’s credibility in Andhra Pradesh politics.

According to the poll results, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has topped the poll, as 90% of participants voted for him.  

Pawan Kalyan is followed by YSR Congress party chief and opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as7% of participants voted for him.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national President N. Chandrababu Naidu came in 3rd spot as only 3% of participants voted for him.
