Bharti Airtel and Ericsson on Monday announced their partnership for building intelligent and predictive network operations that will harness the new-age technologies like artificial intelligence and automation.

Ericsson further added that the proof of concept trials had been completed. The two companies are now expanding their co-creation partnership to industrialize artificial intelligence use cases.

Since 2004, Ericsson has been managing Airtel service partner and running its all-India 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, intelligent network and VOLTE technologies.

According to Ericsson, Leveraging on its development in artificial intelligence and automation, Ericsson will support Bharti Airtel to address network complexity and boost user experience.

Ericsson further added that the proof of concept trials had been completed. The two companies are now expanding their co-creation partnership to industrialize artificial intelligence use cases. According to Bradley Mead, Head of Ericsson Network Managed Services, he is delighted that they can innovate together with Airtel Bharti which confirms a joint commitment to their long-standing partnership.
