ESA’s Climate Change Initiative Land Cover partnership is pleased to announce the official release of the first time-series of annual global land-cover maps at 300 m resolution spanning 24 years, 1992-2015. These maps were created using state-of-the-art reprocessing of data from five different satellite missions, including NOAA-AVHRR HRPT, SPOT-Vegetation, Envisat MERIS and ASAR, and Proba-V. #ClimateChange
