International partnerships: India, China ink 24 key agreements worth $10 billion

In a noteworthy achievement, India and China on Friday consented to 24 key agreements worth USD 10 billion.

The key agreements include those of education, railway, maritime collaboration, ocean sciences and other sectors.

As part of his three-day China visit, Narendra Modi on Friday held converses with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.

In a joint press conference after the marking of the agreements, Modi said, “We have a historic responsibility to transform this relationship into a force of good.”

“We both repeated our solid commitment to attempt all endeavors to keep up Peace and tranquility in the border region. We should be sensitive to each others’ interest,” Modi said.

“I additionally talked about some of our provincial issues and we consented to reinforce mutual trust and manage our differences with maturity,” he added.
