After the success of its integrated digital platform ‘YONO’ among youngsters, India’s largest lender, State Bank of India (SBI) is now planning to expand its reach.

According to SBI Chairman, Rajnish Kumar, YONO has become very famous among the youngsters. Seeing this, they are planning to provide similar services which will be open for all the businessmen and the farmers. This will be launched around April.

He further added that the ‘YONO Farmer’ service would offer several agriculture-related services such as seeds, climate or weather information, KCC (Kisan Credit Card) loans, gold loans and online market information. This platform will be rolled out initially in 6 vernacular languages.

“For the businessmen, all their needs and requirements will be put under one card or services,” said Rajnish Kumar. YONO which means ‘You Only Need One’ is an inclusive platform that offers lifestyle and banking services to its customers. Currently, it experiences around 3 lakh logins daily.
