Thirty years ago, a million people in #Ethiopia died in one of the worst famines in history – a disaster caused by conflict and drought. Today, conflict and drought are again contributing to a crisis that has put 20 million people in North East Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen on the brink of famine. We’re mobilizing $1.8 billion to help people in these countries, as well as in drought-affected Ethiopia and Kenya. The money will be used to build social protection systems, maintain services for the most vulnerable, and make communities more resilient. Find out more about what we’re doing to break the cycle of famine and crisis. http://wrld.bg/zneo30crjo4
