China slashes it’s GDP target to 6 to 6.5% in shadow of US’s trade War

Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang expressed his concern yesterday in an opening session of National People’s Congress- China’s Parliament.

The world’s second-largest economy now slashed its GDP target to 6 to 6.5 percent this Financial Year 2019.  

Nearly 3,000 delegates from across China gathered in Beijing yesterday for the start of the annual session of the NPC.

Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang expressed his concern yesterday in an opening session of National People’s Congress- China’s parliament. He said that the country would face a graver and more complicated environment to development In between an ongoing Trade War with the US and continued economic slowdown. The world’s second-largest economy now slashed its GDP target to 6 to 6.5 percent this financial year 2019.

In a work report, Li said that ” after the overall analysis of developments in China, the nation shows that in pursuing more developments in it this year. The country would be wealthier and as well as it may face many challenges and risks.”

Meanwhile, Li said in NPC, that lowered growth rate from the 2018 Finacial year and target of 6.5 percent this year. Nearly 3,000 delegates from across China gathered in Beijing yesterday for the start of the annual session of the NPC.
