According to a report filed with the California Department of Motor Vehicles, Apple’s self-driving vehicle program has divulged its first accident.

Apple’s test car was attempting to join onto an expressway when it was rear-ended by another car.

Both the vehicles suffered moderate damage however no serious injuries were reported.

The accident took place on 24th of August.

The Apple primarily designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. Apple’s Worldwide annual revenue totalled $229 billion for the 2017 fiscal year.

Apple is the world’s largest tech company by revenue and the world’s third-largest mobile phone manufacturer after Samsung and Huawei.

In August 2018, Apple became the first public U.S. company to be valued at over US$1 trillion.
