American multinational Information Technology giant International business Machines (IBM) Corporation is currently working on ‘Smart Mirror‘ technology.

The Smart Mirror technology is primarily developing to launch in offline retail stores, starting with Vero Moda.

The smart mirror could also help in making recommendations and advise needed changes.

According to IBM’s Kamal Singhani, “the plan is to convert more footfalls into actual sales at these stores.”

IBM is one of the world’s largest employers, with (as of 2017) over 380,000 employees.
