India Becomes FOURTH Nation To Test Anti-Satellite Missile Capability


India has demonstrated anti-satellite missile capability by shooting down a live satellite on a Low Earth Orbit.

India became the fourth nation to achieve this feat.


India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (27th of March) announced that India has demonstrated anti-satellite missile capability by shooting down a live satellite on a Low Earth Orbit.

PM Modi while addressing the nation on the event said, an Anti-Satellite Missile (A-SAT) destroyed the live satellite within three minutes.

Prime Minister also said, this Mission Shakti operation was a difficult target to achieve which was completed successfully.

Mr. Modi further added, with this, India has registered itself as a space power today and till now only US, Russia and China have achieved this.

India became the fourth nation to achieve this feat.
