JanaSena party’s MP candidate for Visakhapatnam VV Lakshmi Narayana on Sunday took part in beach clean-up Initiative on Vizag’s RK Beach.
Former Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Joint Director and Pawan Kalyan led JanaSena party’s Member of Parliament (MP) candidate for Visakhapatnam VV Lakshmi Narayana on Sunday (14th of April) took part in beach clean-up initiative on Vizag’s RK Beach.
Several JanaSena’s Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) candidates from Visakhapatnam also joined Lakshminarayana’s ‘clean beach’ activity.
Speaking to reporters, Lakshmi Narayana said, “We took up the beach cleaning drive for the reason that the cleanliness of the beach echoes the overall beauty of the city.”
Lakshmi Narayana had earlier met with fishermen and discussed their problems.
VV Lakshminarayana, the then CBI Joint Director had arrested YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the illegal assets case and sent him to prison for 16 months.
Lakshminarayana is also known to have carried out investigation in Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gali Janardhan Reddy’s Obulapuram Illegal Mining cases.
He is further known to have successfully carried out the investigation in Satyam Scandal.
Lakshminarayana has been awarded the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Prize by the Minority Commission of Maharashtra.
