Hitting out at the BJP government over Ayodhya case, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti said that the Modi’s government “top priority” now seems to rename historic cities and building Ram Mandir.

She also praised Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s initiative to name the Baloki forest reserve after Guru Nanak.

Ever since the split between PDP and the BJP took place, Mufti has voiced against BJP on multiple occasions. For her, their alliance with the BJP was “suicidal”.

She also praised Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s initiative to name the Baloki forest reserve after Guru Nanak, the Sikh community’s holy figure on Twitter. According to her, time changes. Centre’s top priority is just renaming historic cities & building Ram Mandir. On the other hand, she is heartened to see that Pak PM has taken an initiative to rename Baloki forest reserve after Guru Nanak and create a university under his name.

Ever since the split between PDP and the BJP took place, Mufti has voiced against BJP on multiple occasions. For her, their alliance with the BJP was “suicidal”. She also remarked making changes to the names of cities and roads across the nation.
