These political parties have decided to boycott Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the northeast.

Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Chera Taya claimed that they are not against PM visit to the state, but the bill passed by him is posing a threat to the native people under his leadership.

He further added that party would set out the rally at Itanagar and entities from other parties to have lent support for this.

In Guwahati, Krishan Mukti Sangram Samiti has 70 organisation’s working under him decided to demonstrate a black flag during the PM visit.

Tripura’s Left Front MPs — Jharna Das Baidya, Jitendra Chaudhury and Shankar Prasad Dutta — have also decided to protest against Modi’s programme.

Modi also presented the statue of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikarnika Bahadur at Agartala Airport.

On Saturday, Modi will lay the foundation stone of Greenfield at Holling near Itanagar that will boost tourism in State.
