Odisha to soon have alliance with the following political parties

Discussions are going around that CPI, CPI(M), JMM ( Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) and the Congress may form an association in Odisha ahead of Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.

Congress is willing to share three Lok Sabha seats and 20 assembly seats with the union.

Details are yet to be finalised as the state has 21 Lok Sabha seats and 147 assembly seats.

Discussions are going around that CPI, CPI(M), JMM ( Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) and the Congress may form an association in Odisha ahead of Lok Sabha and assembly polls.
CPI National Secretary D Raja claimed that talk over tables are in progress and the association may take on BJP as well as BJD.
A meeting was also held with Niranjan Patnaik, President of OPCC (Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee).
The details are yet to be finalized as the state has 21 Lok Sabha seats and 147 assembly seats.
According to sources Congress is willing to share three Lok Sabha seats and 20 assembly seats with the union.
CPI member Ramkrushna Panda has asked for twelve assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats for Asia and Jagatsinghpur.
CPI (M) has asked for one Lok Sabha seats and seven assembly seats.
JMM supreme Sibu Soren has asked for Mayurbhanj Lok Sabha seat and minimum five assembly seats for Odisha.
