Our Juno mission to Jupiter will continue its current 53-day orbit for the remainder of the mission. During each orbit, Juno soars low over Jupiter’s cloud tops – as close as about 2,600 miles, peering beneath the obscuring cloud cover and studying Jupiter’s auroras to learn more about the planet’s origins, structure, atmosphere and magnetosphere.
