Polling Ends In Andhra Pradesh, Telangana

Telugu Desam Party national President N. Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and JanaSena party chief Pawan Kalyan exercised their vote in Amaravati, Pulivendula and Vijayawada respectively.

Polling in 91 constituencies spread over 18 states and two union territories ended on Thursday.

All 25 Parliamentary and 175 Assembly constituencies of Andhra Pradesh went to poll in the first phase.

In Telangana, 17 Parliamentary constituencies went poll in this phase.

8 in Uttar Pradesh, 7 in Maharashtra, 5 each of Assam and Uttarakhand, 4 each in Bihar and Odisha, 2 each of Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, and one each of Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep also went to polls in this phase.

According to election commission, 15 cases of damage of EVMs across the country reported on the day.
