Prakash Raj: Village Adoption not for Political Gain

It seems that the effect of Mahesh Babu’s latest release ‘Srimanthudu’ is clearly visible on celebrities as they are coming forward one by one to adopt backward villages. After Mahesh has announced to adopt a village each in AP and Telangana, versatile actor Prakash Raj has now announced to adopt Kondareddipalle in Mahabubnagar district, Telangana.

Prakash Raj met Telangana IT Minister KTR on 7th Sep and discussed his intention of adopting this village. Yesterday, on 8th Sep, he met the villagers of Kondareddipalle and assured them that he will assist them in transforming their village if they also show the commitment.

On the occasion, Prakash raj said, ‘I have not decided to adopt your village for political gain but with the intention of doing my bit for the society.”

“Prakash Raj Charitable Trust will provide all the necessary amenities for your village,” he said.

He also said to the villagers, “I need 10 hard working people of this village so that I can work with them to develop the village. I want to see this village adopting 10 more villages in the near future.”
