A new IFC investment in Tiviski Dairy, the largest employer in the dairy sector in Mauritania, is poised to offer the country’s pastoralist community new opportunities for income that will allow them to maintain their way of life while providing for their families. More than 2,000 livestock herders from across the Mauritania Sahara, 15 percent of whom are women, will be able to increase their income and manage climate change hardships better. http://wrld.bg/2PN530dpund
