Prime Minister Narendra Modi will sermonise a rally in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal on February 8 (today) ahead of Lok Sabha elections.

PM had already visited the state twice earlier. First, he visited Thakurnagar in North 24 Parganas district, and his second visit was at Durgapur in West Burdwan district.

Modi’s visit to the state will be a reply to Mamata Banerjee’s accusations as well as he will try to stimulate his party for the election process.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will sermonise a rally in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal on February 8 (today) ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
Post the Kolkata Police and CBI faceoff swayed the political parties, PM Narendra Modi is preparing for another rally in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district.
Modi comes to visit the state after CM Banerjee ended her protest against CBI who attempted to question Rajeev Kumar,  Kolkata police Chief in Saradha chit fund scam that allegedly also involved TMC leaders.

Modi has  the following agenda on his one day visit to Jalpaiguri:
•     Lay the foundation stone atFalakata-Salsalabari section of National Highway-31 D for the four-lane project.
•    This project will help to reduce the distance by 50km between Salsalabari and Alipurduar to Siliguri.
•    Inauguration of New High Court Circuit Bench.
In the last Lok Sabha polls, BJP has won 42 seats from the state.
The Calcutta High Court will provide immediate justice to peoples heading from Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar in North Bengal.
