India’s largest retailer Reliance Retail Limited is reportedly making its plans to enter B2B E-commerce market in India.

The services will reportedly include offering smartphones, soaps and garments to retailers including those in inaccessible towns and villages.

According to reports, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Retail has already begun trials in Bengaluru for apparel via Ajio business, with plans to enrol over 50,000 vendors.

The company is reportedly planning to extend the pilot to Andhra Pradesh as well as Telangana.

Founded in 2006, the Reliance Retail is the largest retailer in India in terms of revenue.

Reliance Retail had a turnover of Rs. 337 billion in the Financial Year 2016-17. It has announced revenues of Rs. 450 billion for the nine months ended December 2017 for financial year 2017-18, showing of over 90% jump from the corresponding previous period.

The company also reported a profit of Rs. 7 billion for the period.
