Veteran Film Producer and a crucial member of Rajshri Pictures house Raj Kumar Barjatya passed away today morning. He was the father of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya and son of the founder of Rajshri films Tarachand Barjatya.
He was a part of some epic movies under Rajshri banner like Ham Apke Hain Kaun, Vivah and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. He is survived by Sooraj his son and his wife, Sudha.
Trade analyst Komal Nahta confirmed the news on his Social Media handle as he tweeted, “Terribly shocking news. Shri RajKumarBarjatya passed away some minutes back at RelianceHurkissondas Hospital. Can’t believe this. I met him just a week back at his Prabhadevi office. He spent so much time with my family and me. He looked perfectly alright then. And now, he’s gone!”
