Announcement of BSP and SP poll pact in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand

Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced a poll pact in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand for Lok Sabha elections.

Akhilesh Yadav’s wife and Kannauj MP Dimple Yadav who belong to Uttarakhand may be the face of the alliance.

In Uttar Pradesh, BSP will contest 38 seats whereas SP will fight for 37 seats.

On 25th February, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced a poll pact in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand for Lok Sabha Elections.

SP has contested for three seats in Lok Sabha out of 29 seats whereas BSP will fight for the rest.

Due to the availability of five Lok Sabha seats, SP will contest for one seat whereas BSP will contest for three seats. Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati made this declaration.

Sources reveal that Akhilesh Yadav’s wife and Kannauj MP Dimple Yadav who belong to Uttarakhand may be the face of the alliance.

Till date, SP has not won any seat in Assembly polls in Uttarakhand. On the other hand, BSP had previously won 6-7 seats in Assembly Polls.

In Uttar Pradesh, BSP will contest 38 seats whereas SP will fight for 37 seats.
