Congress President Rahul Gandhi slammed at Modi’s government by saying that it waived loans of industrialists like Anil Ambani and Vijay Mallya worth Rs 3.5 lakh crore and announced to give Rs 3.50 per day to the farmers.

Rahul spilled the beans when he was at a convention of tribals at Dhuragaon Village at Bastar district in Chhattisgarh. He talked about Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme where Modi promised to give the farmers Rs 6000 annually in their bank accounts.

Rahul Gandhi promised that if Congress would win Lok Sabha polls then an average income is guaranteed to the poor and the money will be directly transferred to their bank.

Gandhi also reclaimed about the demonetization incident where only the ordinary people stood in question in banks and not the wealthy industrialists.

Rahul also said that overnight the GST (Gabbar Singh Tax) destroyed the small and medium scale traders under Modi government. And if Congress is elected to power, he will show the actual reality of GST.

Rahul also asserted that what Congress has promised it is fulfilling it. For example, as it has pledged in Chhattisgarh Assembly, the state now gets Rs 4000 per sack of tendu leaves.

He also promised that the land that was consumed by Tata Steel would be returned to the farmers as it is not used for the last ten years.

Before initiating the convention, Rahul paid homage to the soldiers who died in Pulwama attack of Jammu and Kashmir and extended his condolences to the families of the bereaved.

Gandhi distributed the papers to the farmers of the land consumed by Tata Steel as well as the forest rights certificate and resolvent of Farmer Loans certificate.
