Janasena’s ‘Screening Process’ Approach Attracts Substantial Number of Aspirants

Pawan Kalyan led JanaSena party’s screening process has been attracting significant number of Common People including women and well-educated personalities since the process began.

Janasena party President Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday (12th of Feb) formed a screening committee that primarily aims at finalising the MLA and MP candidates for 2019 elections.

According to Janasena’s latest statement on the status of the screening process, the party’s screening process has been attracting huge number of Common People since the process started.

People include well-educated personalities and women are showing more interest in contending the elections, Janasena said in a statement.

Speaking on the formation of the committee, Pawan Kalyan said, “aspirants interested in contesting Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are now allowed to send their bio-data to the Janasena screening committee monitored under Madasu Gangadharam.”

He also said, “the committee will majorly consider applicant’s commitment and hard work as part of the selection process.”

He further requested aspirants, “don’t approach anybody else except screening committee as it formed with a criterion- based principles.”

A part from his focus on strengthening party’s Internal Affairs, Mr. Kalyan has also been busy in welcoming highly educated personalities including civil servants, educationalists, scientists, industrialists, economists and policy experts into his party.

Pawan Kalyan on Monday (11th of Feb) welcomed former Tamil Nadu chief secretary Ram Mohana Rao into Janasena and appointed Rao as a party Advisor.

On Thursday (7th of Feb) Mr. Kalyan welcomed former President APJ Abdul Kalam’s advisor V. Ponraj into Janasena and appointed him as an advisory council member.

Economist Pentapati Pullarao, author V.V. Rama Rao, retired D.I.G Ravi Kumar Murthy, professor Sudhakar Rao and IT entrepreneur Puli Sekhar have also recently joined Janasena party.

Pawan Kalyan had previously made it clear that his party will contest in all the 175 assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and will not align with any ruling or opposition parties other than Left parties.

Mr. Kalyan also confirmed that his party will offer women and young people more opportunities.
